Perspectives on Protesting
The dictionary defines the verb form of the word “protest” as follows:
- express an objection to what someone has said or done.
- declare (something) firmly and emphatically in the face of stated or implied doubt or in response to an accusation.
I believe that these definitions are appropriate for peaceful protests. They represent what Christian, conservative or Republican protests have represented. One example is prolife advocates protesting at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. Another is when the Tea Party or a conservative group has a march on Washington etc. They do not infringe on the negative rights of others in any way. They do not threaten of intimidate anyone. They do not even liter the location with anything; not even a gum wrapper or bottlecap. They do not go beyond what the above definition represents. They limit protests to EXPRESSING objections and DECLARING FIRMLY and EMPHATICALLY their position!
However, when left wing, progressive or Democratic groups protest there is never such a thing as a peaceful protest that limits their protest to the dictionary definition. First, they are not responding to anything that someone said or did, nor are they responding to an accusation made against them. Secondly, they are not just expressing an objection or just stating something emphatically. They are destroying things based upon being victims of an alleged nonspecific race theory that has not even been debated, let alone proven, to authenticate its truthfulness to make it legitimate. In addition, as explained on the “Perspectives on Racism” page the seriousness of the alleged offense is the least serious on the entire chart and their response includes many things much higher on the seriousness chart.
The alleged grievances of systemic racism, police brutality, white privilege, white supremacy etc. are only a pretext to carry out their Marxist plan to destroy America; they have no justification whatsoever and their organizations are completely illegitimate.
